Felix W. Zulauf Chairman
Felix has worked in the financial markets and asset management industry for almost 40 years. He started his investment career as a trader for a large Swiss Bank and received training in research and portfolio management thereafter with several leading investment banks in New York, Zurich and in Paris. Felix joined Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS), Zurich, in 1977 and held several positions over the years including managing global mutual funds, heading the institutional portfolio management unit and at the same time acting as the global strategist for the UBS Group. Since 1986 he’s member of the US-Barron’s Roundtable. After two years with a medium-sized Financial Organization as a member of the executive board, he founded Zulauf Asset Management AG in 1990, allowing him to independently follow his own individual investment philosophy. He sold the majority of his firm several years ago and spun off his remaining minority, which today serves as his own family office.
Thomas Amstutz Member of the Board
Thomas Amstutz held a variety of management positions with Credit Suisse Group since joining the company in 1978. In 1999 he was appointed member of the executive board of Credit Suisse Private Banking and from August 2002 until December 2004 he was member of the executive board of Credit Suisse Financial Services and head of the investment management division. From 2005 he chaired the Absolute Investment companies. He is currently partner at JAAM Advisory Zürich and on the board of Alpine Select AG. He is also on the board of various private companies.
Alexander Kaiser Member of the Board
Alexander Kaiser has more than 20 years of experience within the financial markets industry. Amongst other positions he held a variety of management positions with Clariden Leu from 2001 until 2012. He has deep knowledge in corporate financial management, business development and corporate performance management/controlling. Alexander is also an adjunct professor (corporate finance) at the University of Applied Science Western Switzerland, Freiburg and he served as the honorary consul of the Commonwealth of Australia for German-speaking Switzerland until end of 2014. Today he runs a consulting company in Zurich and Melbourne (focus strategy/management consulting and corporate finance/M&A).
Oliver Widmer Member of the Board
Oliver Widmer has been a partner at Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law since 2009 and heads Pestalozzi’s Private Clients group and is a member of Pestalozzi’s Financial Services group. He has more than 15 years of experience in advising Swiss and international banks, financial institutions, wealth management service providers and high net worth individuals on banking, finance and capital markets matters. He serves as board member of various financial services providers. Graduated from the University of Zurich and the London School of Economics and Political Science, he is admitted to the Bar in Switzerland and as a solicitor (not practicing) of England and Wales, is an authorised issuer’s representative at the SIX Swiss Exchange and is recognized as trust and estate practitioner (TEP).
